What a professional dynamite show! Every song was great. What a tight band that just
keeps getting better every time we see them๐๐ Fillmore is a terrific venue.

ISBELL ALWAYS GREAT
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit have to be one of the best bands in the USA. Great
musicians, everyone. Jason has done a good job of keeping this group together. Great
variety of songs and moods in the set. Isbell continues to be one of the premier song
writers of today. Killer rendition of Allman Brothers, "Whipping Post" closed the encore.
Terrific stuff.

ONE MORE CHECK ON MY BUCKET LIST
Been a loyal fan since the early 2000s when Jason was with the
Truckers. Even coerced my wife into joining me as I've never had the
opportunity to see him live in concert.
Needless to say the show was amazing, deeply moving, and left us
both wrung of emotion before we left the Performing Arts Center. The
sound production and lightIng really added the the entire experience
up front, but my pop music fan wife even purchased his album post-
performance. It was a moving, soulful journey through the eyes and
lyrical poetry of a man I can so very much relate with on a more
personal level. The song choice and set list structure pefrctly mirrored
an opera with movements and crescendo., Albeit, with the addition of
new album tracks and lack of a handful of staples from yesteryear;
Dress Blues, Goddamn Lonely Love and Decoration Day, Isbell gave an
intimate and personal song choice closely resembling his life at
present. Wonderful musicianship. Kindred fans. Americana. Perfection.

MASSEY HALL CONCERT
Wow! I have been a fan of Jason Isbell for years, since his days with the Drive- By
Truckers. But, even continual listening of his last 3 records did not prepare me for how
good he, and his band, are in concert.
Clean, crisp sound. Sweet solos, lush violon. Great setlist. Warm rapport with the crowd.
So glad my wife and daughter came along, and also enjoyed the show immensely.

JASON ISBELL
great show

THE BEST ONE SO FAR
Have seen Isbell and the 400 unit a bunch of
times and last night at Whitewater here in
central Texas was the most fun to date. Even
though there was news of family tragedy the
band was loose and isbell more animated
than in past shows. If you like Rock n roll go
see this band. Lots of guitar work to go
along with the excellent song writing.

BEST SINGER/SONGWRITER AROUND
Thanks for the fabulous show at Marymoor..only disappointment was that Amanda wasn't there. Might have to catch you both at Edmonton Folk Fest.

THE BEST CONTINUES TO GET BETTER
This was my 3rd time to catch Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, and the first time at ACL Live in Austin, my all-time favorite venue.
The band and Jason just continue to hone their craft and get better. Also, I love the way they tinker with their set list to keep things fresh. I am long-time REM fan, and the cover of "Driver 8" was spot on.

MAGICAL!
Absolutely outstanding show! Speechless at times. A lifelong fan was born that night!

JASON ISBELL STILL ROCKIN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
What an awesome performance to end our covid induced concert slumber.
Although we had seen Jason and the 400 unit several times before ; this show was fresh, unique and emphatically more "Rock" forward.
Extended jams, subtle twists on his classics , and the bands high energy kept us dancing in our seats all night.
Jimbo Hart was a sight for sore eyes as usual, and Sadler Vaden rocked the palace out with his own song and center stage gig.
Jason is truly a savant song writer and an incredibly talented musician .
Thanks for helping us find our way back to the sheer joy of live music.

JASON ISBELL VANCOUVER SHOW
So happy to have seen Jason and his band in Vancouver. What great songs and a great voice, I just adore him. But as another reviewer pointed out, the concert could have been better with Amanda. She's terrific!

JASON ISBELL AND THE 400 UNIT IN VICTORIA MARCH 6 2023
Like many others in the Covid era, I had waited over two years to hear Jason Isbell live (the first time for me) and I must say that it was well worth the wait. A great show, with a very good band, but as another reviewer has mentioned, when the band fully engaged, with the exception of Super 8 Motel which is a true rocker, they tended to overpower Isbell's vocals - which I suspect was what most folks were there for. The numbers that featured just Jason and his guitar and/or some subtle support from the band, such as Last of my Kind, Cover me up, Elephant and Vampire, were truly magical. Can't wait for his return!

TRAVELED TO SEE JI AT RED ROCKS - NOT DISAPPOINTED
Red Rocks has been on my bucket list for at least 5 years now and when I saw Jason was coming in May I asked my wife if she wanted to do it and she said, let's do it. I had been excited about this show for months and it did not disappoint. The beauty and natural splendor is enough to leave on in awe. Tie in great music and good people and it doesn't get much better. The first time we saw Jason in Peoria, IL back in 2018 the band was incredible, but Amanda was doing her own show that night. Tonight we got to see the queen and she did not disappoint. She adds that extra element and together they played a great show. The three new Weathervanes songs were a great addition to the set and Cast iron skillet, that was just released two day earlier, is an incredible live song. I would do this trip again.

UNDERWHELMED
What a great voice. Excellent vocals and acoustic guitar. Put the electric guitar in the
closet. Reverb was over the top in the theater, covering up instrumental and vocal.
Rich from Akron, Ohio
POOR SOUNDBOARD CALIBRATION
The instances when Jason played by himself were spectacular. The second the bass of the drum set.and bass guitar joined him all vocal nuance and artistry was lost. I had not signed up for a heavy metal night.
